CANCELLATION of the Haemato-oncology Best Practice workshop

ACGS regretfully announces the CANCELLATION of the Haemato-oncology Best Practice workshop that was organised for the 29th October at the Christie Hospital, Manchester. We understand that this is a particularly busy time for laboratories and a number of key individuals and clinical colleagues were finding it difficult to attend at this time.

An online forum might be a viable replacement for the Workshop, but this is to be confirmed.

The ACGS Quality Sub-Committee (QSC) will be issuing a questionnaire to laboratories in the next few weeks to scope current practice in haemato-oncology genetic and genomic testing. This will inform the ongoing writing of draft guidance in CML/MPN, AML/MDS, ALL, including NGS panels.

The ACGS QSC welcomes input to the guidance development and are grateful for suggestions by other means of professional engagement.
