The Association for Clinical Genetic Science was established in December 2012 from a merger of the Association for Clinical Cytogenetics and the Clinical Molecular Genetics Society with the vision of bringing together scientists working within genetics into one professional association.

    The ACGS is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Genetic Technologists or Healthcare Science Practitioners to undertake the role of Technical Training Lead for the profession. Interested applicants must be a member of the ACGS, have a track record of delivering technical training and a desire to progress and promote training and development opportunities for Technologists and Practitioners. The successful applicant will work closely with the ACGS Lead Training Officer to progress training for the membership and would be invited to join the Workforce Development sub-committee.
